Hansford Sensors win again!

Winning awards is becoming a trend for the team at Hansford Sensors! Our latest success is a prestigious EEF Future Manufacturing Award for export achievement. We won this award in the South East regional category and will now be going forward to compete at a national level.

The EEF Future Manufacturing Award recognises the rapid growth of our export business. As Chris Hansford, our Managing Director, explains, “This has risen from 20% of turnover to over 90% in just a few years. It’s the result of the hard work, skill and commitment of our entire team, both at our UK manufacturing, sales and support centre, and our subsidiaries and sales partners around the world.”

The EEF Future Manufacturing Awards celebrate the success of manufacturers across the UK and attracts a high standard of entries from some of the country’s leading industrial companies.

Chris points out that, “It’s a tough competition to win, but the judges were impressed by our carefully planned export strategy and by the way in which we’ve developed directly owned sales offices in key countries, supported by a wider network of sales partners. Unlike many of our competitors, we’re therefore able to support customers globally and at a local level, with the products and support required to help them meet the challenges of vibration monitoring in a wide range of demanding industrial applications.”
