Hansford Sensors named runner-up for national EEF export award

Hansford Sensors was among the winners at the prestigious EEF Future Manufacturing Awards, for export achievement. Taking place at a Gala event in London, the awards recognise the highest achieving UK manufacturing companies.

After winning in the South East regional category in November 2017, we were invited to the ceremony yesterday to compete at a national level, joining the other regional winners. Although as runners-up we didn’t win the first prize, we were nonetheless recognised by the judges for our outstanding success in export growth and for promoting the excellence of UK manufacturing around the world.

This honour recognises our commitment to export sales, which have become the engine that drives the business forward. We supply our products to more than 50 countries and as a result of our global achievements, we’ve built our export business from just 20% of turnover, to over 90%.
