Brands Hatch Success for Tom Ingram

Last weekend our sponsored racer Tom Ingram competed in the Ginetta GT Supercup at Brands Hatch.

A tyre gamble in the second race meant that early on Tom struggled for grip, unfortunately losing ground on the race leaders in the early part of the race. With the track drying up as the race progressed, Tom was able to close the gap and managed to finish fourth, “I could feel my car getting better and better, and I had so much more grip than everybody else over the closing stages,” he said afterwards. Tom even stated that it was the most enjoyable race he ever driven.

Race three was a huge success for the young driver. He had an incredible start, and held the lead from beginning to end. This is his seventh career win, and is he is currently second in the championship.

Overall it was an excellent weekend for Tom and team, and we are really looking forward to seeing him race at Donington Park later this month! You can watch all of Toms races on ITV4.
